Hi guys,

I'm sure the title gives the game away, but was wondering if anyone could confirm whether I would be able to connect my new iMac 27" to my old 21" inch and use it as a second (dual) monitor?

I assume it's just a case of connecting them with a male to male mini display port cable?

Cheers, Rob

why do that?

if you connect them right - say ethernet - and share the disks, you can use them independently but on the same data. and leverage the extra processing power

Cheers guys, thought I'd better check.

It's really just for developing on Dreamweaver, I like having the dual screen option with Code View on one monitor and Design View / Browser Preview on the other.
