My wife wants the larger watch size and likes the Milanese Loop band. These bands only seem to come in one size and when you purchase the band for the larger watch, it is automatically the longer band size.

Are any of the Apple bands, for the 44mm watch, available in shorter sizes?

Yeah, I feel ya - it's tough. I have bony little 6.5"/165mm wrists, and the larger 44mm watch. I'm glad I prefer the Sport/Solo Loop bands, because any of the metal bracelet-style bands would be too big for me. Even the Sport Loop bands are pushing it, because the velcro wraps almost all the way around back to the watch. Wouldn't trade the bigger screen size for anything, though.

I have a 44mm and a very scrawny wrist. The sport loop works fine. I did order a braided band for 42/44 on Amazon (the smallest) and it is a bit loose, and it is narrower than the Apple bands. I got the red watch and band and I love it.
