My wife has just purchased a brand new pair of the AirPods Max in Purple

She’s been offered 60 days to take out Applecare+ which has unlimited accidental damage

So if for example she accidentally drops them and one head phone has a crack, is this something which is covered?

Or does the headphone have to be not playing for the AC+ to be used?

Has anyone else successfully had AC+ for their headphones and managed to use it like example above?

Thanks

Scratches won’t be covered because they’re considered cosmetic, but I’m sure a crack would be. And $60 for two years of coverage on a $550 device seems like a fair deal to me. Especially a wearable.
