Well, they have them in the Manchester Arndale this lunch, not on display yet, but half of the staff are clutching 11"ers like newborn children, luring passers by to ooh and ahh at them. I only had a tinker with one for a few minutes, but very, very slick little machines, and indeed the 16:9 aspect ratio didnt even register to me while using it. Its probably the same width as an iPad, but longer by 4 or 5cm

So tiny!

I want

Edit: That's not meant to be a pathetic "nerr nerr, ive touched one and you haven't" I meant to allude that If the crummy Arndale has one, you can bet the flagship London stores have them in!

Sounds awesome! I'll probably try and drop by the Regent St. store tonight in the hopes of cradling one in my arms for a few minutes. :)

Best go early in morning. I hate Apple stores. They always full of kids bashing their hands all over iphones and ipads and people who just pop in to browse the web

Went to High Cross this morning, they had none but said they are expecting them later today. Might go again at 6ish when I finish.

The London Westfield Apple store yesterday morning said they were just putting some software on theirs and they'd be on display by today. Some of the sales staff were walking round with them in the meantime.

Went to the Covent Garden store today - they have all the standard models on display. Upgrades have to be requested online.

I have to say, after a little play with the 13'' MBA, they are impressively quick - quicker than I anticipated. They are definitely geared for most computer tasks, inc photoshop & minor video editing.

Well i had a little go on the 13" at the Trafford centre store. It was packed so had to wait a bit to get on it but the bump in screen res was noticeable right away. Hopefully all of Apples 13" notebooks get this next update. Long overdue IMO. Seemed as zippy as the previous gen SSD Air. The 11" next to it looked tiny but they all do in stores till you get them home. :D
