New alerts/ringtones?

Do you think we will see new ringtones/alert tones in one of the beta's? I'm so sick of the stock ones, i mean the last time we got new tones was iOS 7

i feel like they want you to download from iTunes, but who wants songs as ringtones, i definitely don't

You might be right. LOL.

I have songs for ringtones sometimes, but I don't ever want songs with words. I don't want my phone to SAY (or sing) anything when it rings; just play pretty sounds. I just get them from Zedge.

There haven't been new ones since iOS 7

FWIW, there is an entire "Tones" section of the store, which has far more than "songs for ringtones".

Even when Apple updated their tones for iOS 7, they mostly remastered the old tones in higher quality. Apple very much wants their common tones to be recognizable. Every time you hear that Messages tone in public, its a win for Apple.
