New, almost perfect MBP..Questions

so i got the base macbook pro on monday.
on tuesday they announce the new iLife..apple says it has to be bought on the 7th to apply for upgrade
i bought it on 6th
anything i can do?

Also no yellow tint and no problems except heat, should i take it to the genius bar?

There is a large thread on ilife 08 upgrades. Bottom line: yes, you can talk your way into a free upgrade if you handle it well.

I purchased my laptop on July 19th and I received it on August 3rd. I called up Apple Sales Support and the supervisor was able to OK my exception and my iLife '08 shipped out today. You should be able to get an exception and get the $10 upgrade.
