Hello all developers and programmers,

i have a very general question most of you probably will not have much time to read let alone answer but there are defo people out there who would liek to give me some sound programming advice and advice on how to start a project.

I have this idea for an App and would like to develop this.
I have good knowledge of HTML, CSS and fair PHP.
I'm completly new to C programming (but willing to learn) and Xcode.

So now you know a little bit about what I can do.

The app how over has to have the following function:
It has to retreive data from a user, store this in a database and the data will be send to a website where you can eiter download the data, get it emailed to you or edit the data.

It's certainly not rocket sience but i would like to get some help/ideas from you:
How would i manage this project?
Will i try to do this all on my own? of will i try to get some else involved?
(i have no financial backup for this project)

I'm just starting this thread and hope i can get this going so it could help anyone who would like to startup a app development project as well...

If you are already... Apple fanboy is the term.. and have an iPhone 5,
and an iPad, and an Intel Mac, you could say the financial backing is $99,
and you have given yourself a goal oriented year.
Then you know if your app is worth another $99 investment.

I'm not that kind of programmer, but there are people here who would
customise what they already have working (without app specific refinements) in no time.

It would be fair for a beginner, with computing interests already, to pull off
the App Store distribution, with app specific refinements (icons, graphics, UI, etc, within the year.
