I'm excited to announce that my new app Typing Genius is now on the iTunes app store as of last night!

Typing Genius is the first and only complete typing trainer application on the app store. With over 50 randomized exercises in 17 categories, it will prove useful to users of all levels of experience. Key statistics are provided and tracked allowing users to see how they perform in normal mode, landscape, and without autocorrection. With the growing trend of apps using landscape typing and the upcoming iPhone update to include a autocorrection toggle, Typing Genius is extremely relevant to provide users with practical stats. On top of that, Typing Genius includes a series of typing tips and tricks to bring new users up to speed.

Lastly, I would like to give a big thank you to everyone here at MacRumors who have helped beta test this app (requested in a previous thread) and provided tremendous feedback. It was very helpful in terms of setting the correct price and the overall UI design. :)

Thanks and hope you like it!

This looks very interesting. I may just have to give this a try out and see if it improves my performance while using the touch screen keyboard on my iPhone. Looks like a pretty solid interface. Thanks for posting!

You're welcome candyman! I hope this app can help you improve your software keyboard typing speed. When I first started this app my original intention is to help all the iphone/ipod users out there in bringing their typing up to speed. I am unconvined that the software keyboard is inferior in any way compared to the blackberries or windows mobile devices. I think everyone just needs to know all the tricks and a little bit more practise. :)
