My 3 day old macbook and iphone has the new Apple Logo, has anyon else noticed this?????
That's not a "new logo" that's just supposed to make it look like reflective chrome.
You can see it by going to the Apple Menu and choosing About This Mac.
The "logo" is just the shape. That hasn't changed since the 70s. Apple always freely colored the Apple logo however they wanted. Even during the rainbow years, printed manuals and boxes and stuff often had various solid color versions of the logos, whether they be blue, green, red, black, or gray.
I think it's pretty clear that the OP is not "BS-ing us", but rather confused in thinking that the reflective chrome version of the logo was replacing the ordinary solid-coloredyeah, I agree. that guy needs to post a pic of this "new logo." I think he's BS-ing us. not cool.
I think he's talking about the slash on the apple now a days you can see it on the apple page top left tab.

Edit: Ok, did some research and it looks like that was an April Fools joke haha.

I can understand the confusion, I guess, considering this version of the logo is present on the "About This Mac" window, Apple's web site as of recently, and apparently their new hardware as well.
True, but not everybody pays that much attention.yeah, I could see that. but it's been in "about this mac" for a while.
I guess ColorSync didn't work as well as it was supposed to!Even during the rainbow years, printed manuals and boxes and stuff often had various solid color versions of the logos, whether they be blue, green, red, black, or gray.
heres a bigger pic..
