The so-called confirmation has not been unearthed by some geek with the usual dissatisfied Apple Deep Throat but by an even less likely blabbermouth: a rapper called Just Blaze.
A recent Apple-sponsored knees up for the employees featured rappers and other musical artists performing and, according to reports, they were offered a new, forthcoming MacBook as a reward - one they were told would be unveiled at Macworld in less than three weeks time.
