Just got back from the grand opening of the new Apple store in Colorado Springs! Man, the place was packed. Got the free t-shirt. Bought Lego Star Wars for my son. Anyone else go?

I was going to but not if it's that packed. I only work 5 minutes down the road from it anyway. I don't know, we're thinking of going to P.F. Chang's for lunch for my wife's birthday. Maybe well stop by.

Not bad, but ever notice that once you've seen one you've seen 'em all?
Still nice and I dig the free shirts. :D

It was my first grand opening, and it was awesome. Staff members were in two lines as you entered and you walked between them as they cheered, whistled, high-fived customers, etc.

Back on topic: Lunch at P.F. Chang's was excellent. That's the first time we have been there. We didn't end up going to the Apple store simply because of the Fire Dept.'s biker rally and a baby who needed to nurse. Oh well, I hope everyone else enjoyed it.

My sister said something about an Apple store when I was in town last weekend, where is it?

I've lived just off Power and Research for a year now but I've only been in town about 30 days in the last year so I don't really know where anything is.

It is off of I-25 and Briargate Parkway in the Promenade Shops.
