There's a new Apple support article on how iPads (especially the LTE models) are manufactured and Apple's position on bent iPads.

I don't see a front page article on MR about this yet. With the extended holiday return period fast coming to a close, everyone should focus on this promptly if they want to have the option to resolve the issue by returning an iPad.
