New apple tv (2010) in Japan ?

Do we know if the new black apple tv will be on sale in Japan ?
I look at apple's home page in Japan, and it is no appearing on it ?

Apple doesn't offer movies/TV shows in the Japanese iTunes store, so I don't see why they would release the Apple TV there.

Yeah we have the old apple TV here but Im yet to find the new one too.
Oh I live near Tokyo - bought the new shuffle today - local Nojima got them on the 12th. No sign of aTV. I dont know about movies on the Japanese itunes cause I always buy stuff from the aussie or US store.

My guess would be that the media companies wont bend over backwards for apple like the US ones. The media is very old school here and doesnt adapt well to changes (especially due to a foreign owned company) - We had a big case two or three years back concerning a young business man called Horie (who controlled a company called livedoor). he tried to take over one of the big TV companies and they burned him for it.

He went to Jail........

Hmm, I checked the Japanese iTunes store, and the sections available are only Music, App Store, Podcasts, Audiobooks, iTunes U, and Music Videos. No movies. Not sure if it was available before or not, or maybe it's exclusive on the Apple TV itself?

Yes, you are right PIKA2000, there is no movies or tv shows.
I maybe mistake it with the american one.
But, why then, there was an apple tv before ?
strange things ...
