Very interesting. Very.

Is this new? I thought it was hacked a couple weeks ago...

Still need a couple more things before these hacks become useful:

1. Apple TV-friendly springboard for launching apps
2. mapping touch controls to the Apple TV remote
2b. running bluetooth keyboard, mouse, or trackpad on the Apple TV

How awesome that it's done, as I just got my new ATV2 in the mail today. Still, I'll be waiting until they actually start releasing some apps for it.

But +1 for Hulu Plus.

I have a PHP-capable light HTTP server, bind DNS server and a subversion server all running on my ATV2 now. And that's to say nothing of the pointlessness of links/lynx text web browsers and irssi IRC clients installed and running.

My point- there's plenty of good to go software for the ATV2 if you're into that sort of thing.
