New Apple TV OS

So, I was reading in Forbes a preview of the new Apple TV iOS that will feature apps. But to get the full potential of this they will have to bring out a new device in December with a camera and mic to do FaceTime.

The thing I wonder is how this will affect the apple tv 3 at all. They just released the product, so are they putting this new iOS to the ATV3? Essentially, I am wondering if I should take back the ATV3 I just bought.

I doubt they're bring out new hardware. The current ATV should be fine.

No you were not reading a preview of the new Apple TV OS. You were reading an article about yet more bs analysis from someone who has no idea what Apple is doing.
