It's AT&T.

The replacement of the ampersand is not clever. Or funny.

And what makes you think iPhone won't be able to access this?

But it's cool to do it because that is how we treat all the evil corporations who make a product and then have the audacity to charge you for it. IE: M$. ;)

^AT&T fanboy everybody

You know what's overused. Fanboy. If someone comments positively for any company - Apple, AT&T or whatever - that does not make them a fanboy. Repeating the word over and over makes it lose all meaning when it really applies.

Learn to appreciate the english language instead of firing off the quickest insult you can think. Or better yet - don't respond at all if you don't have anything to add.

AT$T. That's pretty good, clever and funny. I wonder if there's a way to replace the AT&T icon at the top of my iPhone screen with AT$T.

The dollar sign is apropos.

Are you the AT$T blog guy?

I disagree. 3G service in the Northern Virginia/DC area is phenomenal.
I would just love to make a phone call to my mother for 5 minutes without it getting dropped.

3G service is OK as long as I don't leave the city (and stay away from the multitude of dead zones within). Once I go on the road I can forget about any data. EDGE is pretty much crippled completely and 3G doesn't exist in a lot of rural areas.

Nevertheless, I'd just like to have even somewhat reliable phone service, or to get my voice mails from calls (missed because my phone is on but the service sucks) on the same day they get recorded.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of people who can relate to the AT$T replacement. Their most attentive service comes from the sales force.

So it's AT&T's fault that you signed a contract with them without knowing whether or not you had sufficient coverage in the areas you planned on frequenting?

and I see it as this AT$T is namecalling which is the LOWEST form of insult.

Like when Rush L refers to people as moonbats.

You can certainly offer your opinion on AT&T. And I think you'd get a lot of supporters or people who have differing opinions. That would be a mature way of engaging in conversation. Same goes for "fanboy"

If someone doesn't agree with you - try and address the difference in opinion instead of slinging "fanboy" around. It's lost all meaning and it isn't even accurate.

It's ATT's fault for claiming coverage they don't deliver, so yes.

You don't read the internet? I'm not the first, nor am I even of a small minority, complaining about ATT's poor service. What they claim to be capable of and reality (i.e. what they actually deliver on) are two different things.

You could really make that argument about any of the carriers. And on any given day. Just sayin'

hahahaha no, not at all! I just love paying all the money and not getting perks like other carriers. But, as some will eventually say on here...you have a choice, you can leave...I know I can just like everyone else bitches.

I like the phone, but I hate how Apple locks it down.

AT$T is ok. Speeds are left to be desired though. And you'll never see 21mbps like they'll start in Canada.

But, I digress....it will be funny though to see if AT$T does make an app for their new service because you know they won't let Apple approve Slingbox.
