Hi all,

A friend of mine in San Francisco is producing an aluminum/rubber mount for the iPad. It will allow auto/industrial/lab mounting and attach to a few different standard mounting arms (this illustration shows a RAM mount).

What do you think?

It's being produced by Aileron Designs (NetbookMounts.com)

Thanks,
Sasha in SF

Has good potential for auto applications, depending on how ugly/conspicuous the arm is. Would be helpful if the black tabs on the corners are easily removed or slid to the side for taking it out of the car whilst parked (unless the idea is that the mount itself comes off from the arm).

Just my two cents.

The RAM is a stable platform which I currently use on my motorcycle. Although I don't think the iPad will fit my tight area:D

Car would be cool;)
