I upgraded from the AW1. I wear an aftermarket Ti link band that I love, so I decided to splurge on the Ti mesh band. This bad is crazy light and feels great. No hair pulling so far. The mechanism for it is fantastic but is a bit tricky to get on any off. I love the look and the precision of its design. Its perfect for the watch. The new Ultra faces are pretty good. I don't care for most of the others and use Clockology for something fun. Looking forward to more battery life, and some new features!

I had wanted to get the titanium band, but by the time I got off work and to the Best Buy, all they had was an alpine loop version, so that is what I got. That titanium looks so clean

The alpine band is a great band, I have an orange one from the AW1, and a white ocean. I don't think that the Ti mesh is worth $200 bucks, but basically since I had to spend $100 on the band...then well whatever. If I could have purchased with no band I would have. That said the Ti mesh is super nice.

Apple Watch Ultra with the titanium band is one of Apple’s best products of the past 10 years

I got my Apple Watch Ultra 3 yesterday (upgrading from a Series 7 titanium) and love it! I have small wrists (172mm) but it doesn't look too bad on me. And ordered a titanium Milanese band separately - it's coming today. Can't wait to see it in-person! It looks great in your pic!! 👍🏻👍🏻 For now I'm just using it with my 10-year-old stainless steel link band (have a formal event today so I had to wear a suit) and it looks decent enough, but I'm looking forward to trying out the Milanese band when I get home!

Glad I'm not the only one who used that logic to justify the additional cost! Great strap and makes a change aesthetically from my alpine loops which I also love. Like you I still have the orange from my AWU👍

Right. The alpine, trail, and ocean aren't worth $99. So why not just get the Ti. There is also no aftermarket option for a Ti mesh that is as good as the apple one either - so far.

Have the black ultra 2 with the black Milanese band. Traded in my ultra 1 for the natural ultra 3 and natural Milanese band. I absolutely love them both. Although now I think I am fonder of the natural. Best and most comfortable band out there!

Please keep us updated on your two Ultra setup. It's something I have considered.

I upgraded from a s7 with milanese to the U3. I couldnt get the titanium band with the watch unfortunatly so had to buy it seperatly. I have never spent £200 on a band and was really dubious. Honestly, its by far the nicest most comfy band ive ever had. I often forget im wearing the watch. Im so happy i decided to buy it, i used to scoff at Apple for the cost, but now i get it.

I absolutely loved my Apple Watch Ultra 1. The 2 was as nice. Kept it for two years. My wife knows how much I like watches and got me the Ultra 3 for my birthday.

That band is looking really tempting. I’ve been wearing the cloth sports bands because I dress super casual. My wife wears the Milanese loop with her stainless steel so … I’ll save up for it. The pictures are amazing.

I was disappointed when my band arrived because I was expecting it to be magnetic. After I got it properly adjusted I got used to the clasp and no longer consider it to be an issue, although I still prefer it would be magnetic. I guess you can’t do that with titanium.

Ti Milanese is the best band since the original link bracelet. Ultra bands have completely changed the game for AW bands,

Hierarchy of bands:

Stainless Steel Link Bracelet
TI Milanese Loop
Alpine Loop
Trail Loop
...
Ocean Band
Everything else

I’d put the magnetic leather link bands at the top of the list. RIP 😭

From the angle that I tend to view my watch on my wrist, with the loop at the top, I rarely notice it in real life usage. Just such a nice band overall.

I find the ultra too big for a suit and dress shirts. The ultra gets stuck on shirt cuffs
