I have been using the older version of Backup and it has worked great, backing up everyday as I scheduled from my Computer to my external HD. When the new version of Backup arrived, when it starts backing up it says Backing up " Migrated Drive Plan ". For some reason in my External HD, I have my old Backup file which is like 70 Gb, and now a new file Migrated Drive Plan... should I throw away my old Backup file, because obviously both files won't fit in my External HD.

I probably would throw out all of it, make a new backup job, and let it run till it completes a full fresh backup that you know will be compatable with Backup 3.

I Don't like the new Backup 3.0. To me, it is even more confusing then version 2. I liked how everything was on one list and I could pick and choose and add stuff I wanted. Now they just have backup options and it is pain in the but to add new items.

Maybe backup 3 is easier for new people, but now I can't go back to the way I liked it.

Backup 3 addressed the limitations and bugs that made Backup 2 unusable for me.

Yes, the selection method is different, and I'm not sure which I like better.

I hear ya! Backup 3 is quite confusing! And to top it off I haven't been able to do a successful backup yet!! It goes about half way through, and after 45 min. of watching that little blue bar, it " FAILS " ????? Whats up???
