New bands for the summer Olympics? What does everyone think?

Are there going to be any new bands for this years summer Olympics?
After they have released the first and super hard to get batch during the Olympics in 2016 in Brazil (Wooven Nylon) they released a second batch for the 2020 Olympics which one was able to order online worldwide (Sport Loops).

Really hopeful that Apple will release new bands this year as well, as they are always lovely to wear for the World Cup and the current European Championship. Fingers crossed that this time they might hit us up with braided solo loops

Any thoughts on this?

If so (and if Apple keeps the original schedule), they should be announced and released next week. In 2021 the limited-edition Sport Loops were released on June 29, about four weeks ahead of the Olympics. But I would not hope for Braided Solo Loops. 22 countries with more than 20 sizes is even for Apple a lot to handle and a starting price of 99,00 is not meant to be for everyone. Fingers crossed though!

Would love to see something for the Ultra but not holding my breath on that one.

Looks like it's not happening as we are 2 weeks away. A shame, but maybe there is a new connector coming after all.
