Just a few thoughts. It's rapidly heading towards the holiday season, as well as Apple's usual duo fall Keynote's in September and October respectively.

Therefore, do you think we should expect new Apple Watch bands in time for the Holiday season. I'd personally love to see some of the colours shown off at the Milan Fashion show be available at either the September or October Keynote.

I can just picture promotional pictures of the Watch in the Holidays with Green and Red Apple Watch bands for seasonal colours.

I'm also wondering if we'll see a price adjustment on extra bands, especially if sales of extra bands have been lower than expected. Perhaps they could bring the Milinase Loop, Leather Loop and classic buckle to around $100 to encourage people to buy extra bands.

Thoughts?

New bands - yes. Price reduction - no.

My thoughts too. People keep talking price reduction as if they are trying to will it into being. Apple generally doesnt work that way from my experience. They will discount their major products when there is a new range to be bought. Accessories rarely get discounted.

I am hoping that they either already planned to introduce those new band colours we saw, or read the forums and decided that it would be a good idea.. and this holiday season seems to be the perfect time.

I am also hoping they have seen people asking for a product (RED) band cos that would just be plain cool. :)

Have Apple ever reduced the price of something until it is superseded by a newer model? I doubt there will he any price reductions. I like the current bands, but would like some new colours.

A couple of times off the top of my head, namely the original iPhone and original Apple TV. However, that's only because Apple had erroneously overpriced them in the first place.

The bands are actually reasonably priced for what they are. Many of us were expecting the Milanese Loop to be significantly more expensive than $149.

I would jump at the chance to buy a dark blue sport band. Especially for only £40.

Something for the future. Perhaps Apple could even offer a huge variety, say 50 diiferent colours and shades of Sport Band making some of them available online only?

The original iPhone was discounted just months after release by around $200 if I remember. They also reduced the prices of MacBooks, iMacs, and other products. So people who say they never reduce prices don't have any sense of history at all.

If sales are suffering I could see Apple dropping prices. Maybe a $50 or $100 price drop across the board on the watches. Even if they are doing well, I can see them keeping the original ones around for less.
