I am really excited about this. I have USAA and they already allow you to deposit from home using a scanner. This just makes it easier for me to deposit my expense check every week before I even leave work. USAA has been the best Bank/Insurance company I have ever dealt with.

I may be missing something here, but how is this new service different than the "pay online" service that many banks presumably already offer?

This is a way to DEPOSIT a check written to YOU, not a way of paying someone else.
