I took my 2015 MacBook Pro to the Apple store for the replacement battery program they had for my MacBook Pro. They are replacing the battery and the upper case. The cost is normally 293.00. They are doing it for free! I pick it up from the store in about 3 business days. If anyone has the same MacBook Pro, please take it to the Apple Store. You may get the same deal I got. I think starting this coming January, there may be the normal fee of 293.00 to have the battery replacement done.

Hi, I am planning to have the same procedure done to my MBP Early 2015 13". But I guess they will charge me as I am not included any replacement program, tomorrow I have a genius bar appointment.

Are you satisfied with the replacement because they are almost completely change everything in the computer. They are moving each component (screen, logic board, power board etc.) to a new top case. So in terms of quality and any bugs/issues, do you have any problem after the procedure? And do you also advise it to me?
(My battery has 910 cycles, %75 health, and it keeps the MBP almost 4 hours open, so short)

This sounds really great. I also left my early 2015 13" MBP at the Apple Store Munich. The genius bar checked the computer, the battery resulted in problematic condition, he told me that this is not a "must" to do, however I proceeded.

Until 09.12.2021, hopefully, the top case will be replaced including a new keyboard, a new trackpad, a new battery as well. I hope I can also be satisfied like you, after the process is done.

In addition, have you noticed any improve or quality difference between the old and the new battery? Did it make any improvement in terms of battery hours etc?

I see a great improvement with battery usage. Also the operating temperature of the laptop is lower since the service. Good luck with your battery service!

Why is the temperature lower? That is interesting, is it related to the battery change you think?
They may have cleaned the fan and also dust that was in there that was making it run warmer. Also they may have applied new thermal paste. I haven't opened it up to check, but I just appreciate it operating better.

and I have another problem! on my MacBook pro 2015, a replacement was made according to the program! but less than 4 years have passed and everything has happened again ... the battery has swollen again! apparently apple fixes the problem by changing to a spare part that has the same problem! I found the same thing today! very sad! and it's a pity that apple's quality is not what it was once a long time ago ... there was no such thing with Steve!
I don’t know what to do now.
repair it for money? where is the guarantee that this will not happen again?

I just have to ask this question:
Are you one of those users who leaves the charger plugged in all the time?
