so i set up my iCloud account as usual and all my birthdays show up on the calendar. thats fine ...

but now i also set up facebook and probably made the mistake of synching my facebook contacts (many are obvs already on my iCloud contacts) and therefore every birthday shows up twice on my calendar. now ive tried to uncheck "contacts" in the facebook settings and they go away in contacts but they still remain on my calendar now simply saying "birthday" without the name. i cant delete them either because it's telling my those birthdays are synched with my contacts which they arent because i unchecked facebook.

oh and some birthdays show up even 3 times now  one a day before the actual birthday

anyone know how to fix this?

Is Facebook syncing with iCal by chance? you might want to turn that sync off as well - that might remove the duplicates or at least allow you to remove them.

Where are you seeing this "Facebook" in the latest DP? I don't see anything in preferences regarding setting up automatic syncing with facebook. Am I missing something?

Doh! Had no idea. Should have checked my ADC account. Thanks!

- Found it, small "note" under the latest DP4 release. Surprised it isn't already included as Twitter in DP4.
