Unlikely, this is most likely a regular iMac Intel painted by Colorware PC, they do all sorts of custom case painting including Macs, and iPods.

Yes indeed. :) www.colorwarepc.com/

Looks Photoshopped.

I believe colorwarepc use photoshop to quickly make their case image for the web. So yes it's photoshopped.

Wow. I didn't know these existed. They do look pretty cool. Expensive though.

Thanks everyone for their replies.

Even if that was photoshopped...its pretty pathetic. Notice how the screen isnt aligned properly.

Well, in actuality I think it is photoshoped. They use one computer, and then let you select which color you want to see it as. So I'm assuming they just use a white computer and photoshop each color onto the image.

If you're gonna spend the money, go Ferrari-colored! :D

That is really sweet looking! I wonder if one could have this done post-purchase? Or I wonder if this could be done diy custom? Anyone tried? Anyone succeeded?

edit: sorry, didn't mean to include the image again.

I would say so. Reasons why, well it has no iSight from what I can see, meaning it must be a G5, not an Intel iMac. That means that the copy of Windows running on it must either be Virtual PC, (not sure how full screen looks on that), or merely a picture pasted onto it.

If however you look at the original picture, I think they have taken an older colorware picture and pasted on top. The frame around the dektop is too thin and under closer inspection, you see that while the iMac is in perspective, Windows isn't, so the border is thinner at the bottom than the top.

TWO SOMEWHATWORDS:
Colorware PC.
See the above posts.

Edit: Oh, never mind. I get what you mean now. Mod Your Mac has a lot of good painted Macs, while MacMod and Apple Fritter have interesting modded Macs, some with paint jobs.
