Got Mountain Lion running on the MBP in my sig. Last night I noticed that the custom icons I'd set for my external drives are pixelated, as if ML is using the 32x32 icon size and then sizing it up. This morning I noticed the icon for Chrome in my desktop is doing the same thing. I haven't tried a restart or log out/in, don't have time before work, but I will later tonight.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi
I noticed this the first time i booted into Mountain Lion.
Sometimes if the app doesn't have a low res icon, the icon is blank or invisible.
old installed apps have the high res icons.
strange bug.
cheers

I've seen this too. For several apps I've seen it choose the low-res icon version while the app is closed and move to the high-res one when open. Definitely a Mountain Lion bug. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Pixelated CD Icon

I had the same problem. Inserted a CD to import into my music library when the CD icon wasn't even 32x32 - it was 16x16. Very VERY odd. Hope they get this fixed soon.

I ma sure fixing a pixelated icon is at the top of Apple's ML fix list.
