I just heard about this app that came out two days ago. The app is $4.99 and is the first app I have seen that syncs iCal tasks over the air. It uses the CalDAV format that Apple recently converted iCal sync to, which means you will need to have a MobileMe account for OTA sync.

After installing and entering my MobileMe info, the app synced all my tasks. Adding and editing or marking completed tasks all sync OTA with no user intervention required. This is not a local LAN sync, it is actually OTA.

At $4.99 it is not cheap, but this is the only app I have seen that syncs OTA with the native iCal task list. Looks like it syncs with BusyCal also since it is made by the same company.

Here is the iTunes link.
