I just bought a new Noodle Flat Sync USB Data Cable Cord 3FT + wall charger (5v 1000mA) and recharged my iPhone 6. Now all it will do is show the Apple logo, flash to an entirely red screen, go black and then go back to the Apple logo.
When I plug it into the USB port on my MBA my MBA tells me 'USB Devices Disabled. Unplug the device using too much power to re-enable USB devices'.
Any ideas what happened?

Plugged it in, sat with it about 5 min. No change - same cycle.

Back when I had my 4s/5 I remember the latest iOS update disabled most of my super cheap 3rd party iPhone cables. Now with my iPhone 6+ I figure that a third party cable is fine as long as it is "lightning" certified - meaning at least $9+ / cable.

Been using the below cables without a problem.

Just got this one and it seems to be working fine.
