I was making a new account for my son and at first I tried a limited account but it had no Safari browser and no way to install apps. Then I changed it to a child account and still no way to browse or install apps. Lastly, I changed it to a standard account and still there is no way to have Safari or install apps.

Now I would like to delete the account and start over with it being a standard account but will there be any problems with the account having the same name? The iCloud and everything worked, I just can't get a browser or install apps. Please advise if it would be better to repair or make the correct settings in this account or delete it and start over.
 
I ended up deleting the user and making a new one, same name and no problems so far. I still don’t know what happened with why the dock would not show Safari or the other apps.
 
Thanks for the reassurance. I must have made some mistakes when setting up the limited/child account and couldn’t figure out how to fix it.
