Okay, I found out that for Christmas my parents are getting me a MBP, and I have a few questions.

I have backed up my entire Windows Vista iTunes library via DVDs, but that won't transfer all of my iPhone info...will it?

That being said, I know when you connect an iPod to a new computer that everything is formatted, but is this the same for the iPhone when it comes to apps, personal setting, etc...or is it only the iPod part? :apple:

Thanks...but not really. I know that I will have no problem with music transfer, it's the personal data on the phone (which I'm not sure if the data is part of the "iPod" sync, or if it's totally seperate).:apple:

Your iTunes library, when moved to new computer, will have all your music, podcasts, audiobooks, applications etc.

Once you have personal information from your computer transferred to the respective apps on your Mac, syncing to your iPhone from those Apple applications should yield the same result as syncing from your PC apps.
