I am thinking of getting yet another Mac but I am not sure which one to get. I am torn between: iMac (Intel), Mac mini (Intel) or MacBook Pro. I do not want to wait for Intel versions of iBook or PowerMac because one, I prefer all the others to the iBook and two, because I don't need a computer with as much power as the upcoming PowerMac probably will be. The things I would like are things like: being able to hold a few thousand songs and photos etc, pretty fast, and being able to play games like Sims 2 and other games like that. There are a few other things that I would like but those are the main things. Thanks.

the iMacs are really well rounded machines in my opinion. if you don't have a monitor for your machine then thats a good way to go. if you do have a monitor then the mini would be your best bet. i don't know how the intel ones will play games though or anything like that.

The best deal that apple has at the moment (I think most people would agree) is the iMac. It is a great machine... The only problem with buying a Mac right now is that lets say that this is your first and you want to use Office or photoshop well you will have to go out an buy them and it will cost you a pretty penny. The thing is that you will have to use them under a translation layer (Rossetta) until next year when they come out natively... then you will have to buy them again if you want to take advantage of the speed of your computer. I would wait before I bought an intel mac for a while... grab a rev B when they are 64-bit and will run all your desired apps natively. That being said if you need a comp now they are good machines and Rossetta is quite amazing...

Edit: Looking at your computers list I would just hold off until next year before I got an intel Mac
