New contacts don't show in iOS Contacts app (but do show in macOS Contacts app)

I've noticed a weird bug since iOS 15.0. When I try to add a new contact in the Contacts app on iPhone, it seems to save, but when I look for that contact later in the app itself, their listing is gone. However, the contacts do show up in the Contacts app on my Mac. It's the weirdest bug. Restarts don't help. Now running iOS 15.2.1.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

Might be your Groups setting is incorrect in Contacts.

Do a Spotlight search for one of the cards. If you see it there, the group the contact is saved under is not toggled on.

Thanks for trying to troubleshoot. Sadly, this doesn't seem to be the problem. All groups are enabled. It's the damndest thing...and very annoying.
