Hi there, sorry to interrupt your day with some promo!
We've just released an app for the iPhone called 'My Cookie Heaven'; it's basically a recipe app for baking cookies. Quite simple at the moment, but we're going to add regular updates and beef it up as we go along; the first goal was just to get it out there!
There are 15 different recipes, all of which we've created ourselves (by a chef with 10 years restaurant experience). The photos are all ours, and are of the cookies as baked, so we know the recipes work and are as detailed. We got tired of the cookie and other baking apps that are out there, where they are quite obviously recipes cut and pasted from the internet, along with stock shots of something vaguely related to the recipe! (I saw one which had white chocolate chips showing on the photo, where the recipe quite clearly said to 'melt the chips into the mixture'!) We've had the photos taken professionally after testing and retesting the recipes, and baking (and eating) many, many cookies; hopefully this shows.
The reviews we've had so far have been great, and really positive.
We aim to keep updating the app with more recipes and functionality as we go on, but the 15 we've got at the moment we know work and are good.
