When are apple going to update their corded mighty mouse?? Anyone heard any rumors of this? It seems only logical. I want the laser guidance and 2 buttons of the BT mighty mouse but I don't want the bluetooth (that way I don't have to worry about charging batteries).

Um - most likely not for a long time (I'd say a year+).
They would've updated it with the advent of the wireless Mighty Mouse.
The laser precision makes the upgrade more lucrative, in that it attracts people who may not have been looking for a wireless mouse but may have been looking for a more accurate mouse - making Apple more money

i have the corded m.m. and yeah i have it set up to dual button clicking...
apple logo (top left) -->system prefs-->keyboards and mouse-->mouse--> secondary button and first button options just change thoses and WALL-LAH! you have your dual button clicking

I am using the corded mighty mouse and I was just wondering how the buttons on the side of the mouse work. The buttons are more like pressure sensors. I use it for the dashboard.
I have one of those illuma storm static lamps. Whenever I have one hand near the lamp and another hand near the mouse, the 'button' on the mouse gets activated.

You should mess with your friends with this. Put the lamp by your leg or something and then show them how the mouse can read your mind!
