It looks like Sleepers.net is "entering the jb races" for pkg installers as they released a new software called Kryptes which allows you to install jb packages, but unlike ICY this software isn't 100% compatible with Cydia repos.
It appears according to the software itself that repo-hosts have to add a few extra lines of code to make these compatible.

I downloaded Kryptes and I must say I'm not impressed as even sleepers packages don't seem to download and just hang up.

Plus, is it me, or does this seem like this is a 'lot of fuzz' for nothing, as the only things that seem to show up on Cydia these days are themes & other winterboard stuff most of which seems pretty crappy anyway (sorry theme devs :D)

Anybody get this working yet?

It appears it is compatible with Cydia repos, the code is only to notify Kryptes of new changes.

Not a bad app though, sounds like they have some big things to come along with some solid repos to join.

I think a big reason the only thing you're seeing on Cydia is UI mods is because of 3.0 coming up. Maybe people are using their time to write programs that can make them money through Apple rather than trying to skirt around them.
