Hi

I joined the Dev program as I've been wanting to do so for a long time and the Swift language convinced me to try this time :) So I've installed a copy of Yosemite on a second partition but was just wondered if I could use my iCloud account (so basically signing in to iCloud in Yosemite) while still using Mavericks as main OS or will it screw my iCloud account (thinking of iCloud Keychain compatibility issues etc)

Thanks!

That should work fine, it's really no different than installing Yosemite on a separate testing machine. Applications that use iCloud in Yosemite (and from my understanding, iOS 8) will warn you when they store data in iCloud that will only be accessible from Yosemite or iOS 8 devices.

Exactly, if the program your going to run saves something to iCloud Drive, it will warn you that it will only be accessible from Macs running Yosemite or iOS devices running iOS 8.
