New Developer Beta on Software Update

I just checked Software Update and it says that a new developer beta build is available for download... now, I don't know if I'm not up-to-date, although I thought I was (I last updated my build of Lion after the last developer beta for Lion was updated a little after WWDC.

So guys, check Software Update and tell me if you have an update available.

I am running Build 11A480b, but I am about to install the update. I will post in a few minutes with the new build number.

I'll check if I have an update but mine's build 11A494a so it's likely you're not up to date.

Hmm strange, I thought I was up-to-date. It says I'm on build 11A494a now. When was this update sent out and what were the changes?

I have 11A480b, no new software update. Released June 6.

There is no update as of yet on Software Update-will there be any more build iterations before the final release?

I dont think it is ready yet the GM has not been released yet Too many existing bugs in DP4

Check the file versions they are like 25 may , 30 may

so the current build is over a month old and was the one demoed on the 6 June

so there may/is newer builds waiting ,best guess GM to devs next week

The software updates could be propagating through the software update servers, I have no idea. I can only report what I have and that a check did not note any new updates.

Ugh, I clicked this thread from the forums thinking it was something legitimate. A mod should probably close it or the original poster should change the title.

I don't think we'll see any new developer previews of Lion until release day. Maybe a minor patch if there are critical bugs - like something that can destroy personal data - but I think most of those were squashed a long time ago.
