New EA games are not supported on the MacBook

Just goes to show that the GMA950 integrated graphics card isn't sufficent enough and that Apple should really drop integrated graphics.

For example, Tiger Woods '08 clearly states:

"Note: This game does not support the GMA950 integrated graphics card."

Discuss.

Old news. Many of EA's same games seem to run under Windows and the GMA950, however.

The GMA950 would like to introduce you to 2006 and a lack of T&L hardware.

This shows you three things.

1) The integrated graphics were not meant for gaming
2) The Macbook is not the computer for gaming
3) EA just really sucks at Mac development.


I hope EA can grow with Mac development. They have great games, they just run like junk.

Passable indoors before multi-threaded OpenGL on the GMA950.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cider overhead in addition to the GMA950 were strong deciding factors in the minimum requirements.

I'm pretty sure from a technological/graphics standpoint, WoW ≠ C&C3. Just my $0.02.

Quite true.

The EA Sports games while not pretty do run well on the GMA950 in Windows.
