"New email balloon" not going away on iPhone after I check the message...

Okay, whenever I receive an email on my phone, the alert pops up like normal. I go and check the message and then trash it. I go back to home screen and the balloon is still there saying I have an unread message. Anyway to fix this? Or is this one of the common problems MM users are having?

Also whenever I delete a message on one of the devices, it's still listed in the inbox on others, as well as being in the trash. So in a sense, I have duplicates of every email I receive. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm hoping these are all common MM bugs that'll be sorted out soon.

i have the exact same problem... not sure if its MM or not. i'm sure it will be worked out soon.

I think we need a few more threads about this. The other 11 threads haven't had many posts in them, so maybe this one will take off.
