New Facebook update..video! not working on iPad?

So I was very excited to see this update but it doesn't seem to play the video on my iPad...I know it's an iPhone app but is there a reason that this will not work on an iPad?

Facebook video isn't supported yet by the app. It should give yo ua message saying that.

It just got updated to support video...it works on my iPhone but not the iPad....

If you jailbreak the iPad you can FullForce the IPhone Facebook app. Looks like a native app.

Um...I may be missing something here but for the iPad I go to facebook.com and then create a shortcut to the iPad desktop so I can just click the facebook icon and facebook pops up...
