Hi there,

Check out Symbol6, which has been getting good reviews and is well worth it, if you like "easy to learn, difficult to master" casual games. The game mechanic is unique and specifically designed to fit the iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

Check out the official Symbol6 site or this video teaser for more info.

Check out this blog post for information about an online "lite" version. The iPhone version has more features and offers a lot more fun but seeing the online version in action should trigger a "that is probably so cool on a touch screen" reaction ;)

What a response! The promo codes mentioned here, before I updated the post, are all gone. Looking forward to see what people who got codes think about the game :)

So here are my first impressions of the iPhone version of Symbol6 - it's even better than the online one with both touch and tilt controls. It's actually more action game, requiring good reflexes and concentration, than puzzle game. It reminds me a bit Aqualution, another overlooked game, but this one is much more polished. I can't do anything but recommend this little gem.

I tried the online/lite version after and can say that although it gives you a good idea about the game, the iPhone version is much funner. The graphics on the iPhone version are great and the tilting and touch really add to playability. It's a very simple game and concept, but I think it's definitely fun and addicting. Very recommended.

After playing around with the app for awhile I must say good job. The first couple of levels are easy but get progressivly harder. I love the colors and gameplay is very smooth. I must say even though I got I for free I think its well worth being a paid app.

Thanks for your comments Raoupp, ekcoh and Pgohlke! We're adding a "comparison chart" to the online version to underline that the iPhone experience is, of course, so much more - with touch screen and tilt controls. This game was built specifically to make the most out of them.

And, again, here's an App Store link for those interested in Symbol6 :)
