Hey guys,
I've had my Mac Pro for about 3 weeks now. Below are the specs for it. I thought about gaming a little on it. I would love to play COD 4 "Mac" version. I am wondering with my specs if this would run well or do I need to get xp and run it under bootcamp? By well I mean very well. To my machines best.

Mac Pro
3.0 Ghz 8 Core
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
320GB HD(Main)
1TB HD(iTunes Library)

Okay, thanks I didn't mean to beat a dead horse but I noticed alot of the thread were associated with MacBook Pro's. I would rather run it under OSX.

Wow, those specs are super good, Im sure COD4 would be able to run on max settings. I wonder, how does Crysis perform on a MacPro specced like yours? 8 cores, 8800 GT and 8GB Ram, that should be more then enough to run Crysis at max settings right?

There's a little bit more overhead running the OS X version but it'll run fine.

I take it you're not knowledgeable on video cards and Crysis.

You're looking at SLI GTX280 or Crossfire 4870 for that.

I have no idea. I bought it as a refurb(which we all know doesn't matter) and added 6GB of RAM from OWC. I can tell you this thing is a beast. I do some mild HD video editing and its amazing. This thing will also handbrake a dvd in no time. I am flying through my DVD collection.
