When the difference in speed is in miliseconds, it's hard to get too excited. So an x max can open Instagram .5 seconds faster than an x? We need new battery tech way more than raw speed and ram management.

7nm SoC has increase the run time to a hour on the Xs and hour and half on the Xs Max model. I think Apple is holding back the performance until the A13 series. All Apple have to do is to add more cores and add more buffer memory. It is relatively cheap to add in more memory so I think Apple will do that in the A13 to speed it up! The A14 will be the the one that has the 5nm and 8 cores in the SoC I think!

They need to save these tricks up so they can use it in the future. Innovative and progressive future upgrades ;)

Not even Apple can easily overcome battery innovation! They purchase batteries not produce them although I’m sure they have engineers working hard on it there’s only so much that can be done
