New Harddrive (HD) for a MacBook G1

Hello there,
I'm thiniking of a new Harddrive for my MacBook of the first generation, because 60GB is too little. As far as I know it must be ATA-150.
Has anybody a 7200rpm HD in his MacBook G1? I would like to know if you can feel the performance improvement and what about the battery life. Do you have any tips for upgrading the harddrive.
