new hdd

hello, can anyone recommend a 1tb internal hdd for a 24" imac ? which is the best one to go for? any help would be great. i did search but couldn,t find anything. thanks in advance

Any 3.5" S-ATA HDD will work. I recommend Western Digital Caviar Black and Seagate Barracuda HDDs.

I read through a lot of the reviews of the Western Digitals on Amazon and a lot of people complained that the Black series being a bit loud. If that's not an issue then it's a fine choice but just a heads up.

thanx for the help, just fitted the new wd black 1tb hdd. everything went easier than i thought. snow leopard installed and it,s like having a new mac. thanx again
