was planning on buying a new one today for WOW but by what i have read should i not buy one? new patch seems to be a big bother...DO Not want to waste 2k lol for the only game i play...

You'd honestly throw 2k down a machine to play a game? That seems a bit ridiculous and I certainly wouldnt do it.

Now if you use it for other things as well sure.... You do realize that Blizzard will get it fixed once they figure out the issue right?

Blizz is working on the issue. And also 10.6.5 should help too.

Don't spend 2k on a new machine. Just buy a cheaper one from the refurbished section on Apple's site.
