Hi, i recieved my 2.93 ghz I7 imac yesterday, and spent the first hours installing Windows XP and Battlefield Bad Company 2. That game was barely playable on my first gen Mac Pro, so i was quite exited to try it out on my new machine.

Well, i was able to start the game. And i was playing smoothly in 1680x1050 and everything set on high! I was impressed. Life was good! Then after the round, and the new map loaded, the screen became black. Not everything, but everything related to gameplay. I could still change weapons, squads etc. I could still see the green indicators for where my squad members where, but everything else was black.

Any advice?

I tried installing ATI drivers, but it didnt work out. When i went to ATI's site, and tried selecting drivers for mobility 5xxx series, i was just redirected to a site with link to all the notebook producers. I did find a catalyst 10.7 to download, but when i installed it, it still said 5750 on my card. I also tried removing the supplied apple driver, but windows wouldnt install it automaticly. I tried selecting from list, but i couldnt find any mobility driver.

Starting to feel like a noob again! hehe.

Oh, and one more thing, the stand seems very loose. My imac slides down to a forward tilted position after a short time. Is there a way to tighten it? Is there some pics that show the mechanics of the internal parts of the mounts?

Thanks
Thomas
