Lots of odd blurring going on... But, hell, all these tiny cameraphone pics look so awful, it would look as bad if it were real.

Anyway, nice if true, but I doubt it's going to look just like that Gizmodo mock-up.

How cool can an imac get? Brushed aluminum without the chin. Nice.

Its the specs that will be important.

personally i think that that looks dumb. i mean Steve Jobs said it himself that when they designed the iphone they designed something great for your hand. not something to be enlarged about ten times and sit on your desk. ild rather have my goos neck back any before that. and the other rumors going around of a shopped cinema display. are also false they wouldn't cross that design line into that falls under pro specs. (the brushed metal)

:apple: forever.

If that is the new iMac design Apple gets award for ugly.

It was thoughtful of them to put blank space on top and bottom to give it an 'I want an iPhone' appeal.

I can't imagine anything getting more interesting with the iMac except perhaps giving it multi-touch and shipping it with Leopard in September instead of October.

If they do anything with it, they will reduce any of the size and make it just a screen. My bets are on the iMac becoming like a current cinema display, or better the make the screen go right to the edge (or close) of the whole thing.

The hope is that they did modern tech with it; multitouch screen, flash bootup for super fastness, etc.
