Hi!

Can someone post a benchmark of any of the new iMac models (xBench or even Vista's rating)?

Yes, please! I'm surprised this isn't posted already.

Please state your machine specs as well (processor, ram, video card, hard drive).

Found this in another thread, just something to whet your appetite.

i used my 24 2.4 all night. transferring 20,000+ raw images while installing CS3 and Lightroom, while importing my old library of 7,000+ songs and i didn't hear any noise whatsoever. totally silent.

ps: while doing all this i still got a geekbench score of 2232 and when i stopped doing these processes it got 3372, that is with only one gig of ram right now too.

and for those who fear the glossy..... it is wonderful. so much better than the mbp/mb gloss because of the glass. the whole time i worked on the system i did not notice that it was glossy.

Read the Ars Technia review. There is a review of the new imac, here is a link to the section on performance.

That's all well and good, but I still have yet to see any conclusive benchmark tests yet, I'll be watching this thread very closely. If I saw an Oblivion or Prey benchmark I'd pretty much know what I'm getting into. I think I'll have to wait awhile before I get any good boot camp benchmarks though.
