Hello all. I have a new iMac, and sadly, my screen is already dirty. My buddy made me laugh and I spit a good load of beer on my scrreen. Can I use windex and cloth safely, or do I have to only use the included cleaning cloth?

I just dust it off when needed. No need to wipe the screen with a wet cloth unless you are slobbering all over it
I do the same with my camera's glass, too.

Oh man...DO NOT USE WINDEX!!!!!!!
It is really bad for your screen. I cannot believe people are giving that advice.
There are plenty of approved cleaners..I use iKlear.
I assume because he's instigating the harmful affects of ammonia on a glass screen and if any got onto the iMac's 'anodized aluminium' body.
I read that iKlear was leaving nasty streaks on the screen. Nobody is having that problem with iKlear?
